KamasK? Who are they? What are they doing?
KamasK is a Cambodian company founded in 2012 by Veasna Srey and Alicia McCarntney. A few years ago, they noticed a soaring of respiratory illness in Cambodia due to the rapid increase of Air pollution and decided to react.
They thus created KamasK to address this particular problem and help Cambodians and expats to breathe better.
For the past six years, they have been developing different kind of masks which can filter up to 99% of micro-particles thanks to their four layers. It helped thousands of people to improve their health and stop suffering from chronic diseases linked to air pollution.
Social Impact
KamasK wanted to make a difference and have a social impact in Cambodia. They thus partnered with the well-known NGO “Pour un Sourire d’Enfant” (PSE, For a Child’s Smile). The masks are manufactured in PSE’s workshops to ensure good working conditions and fair compensation for the workers
