How we work

At AngkorHUB, we have two passions: being productive, and being positive. And as you’ll see when you visit us, we’ve found the ideal way to integrate the two.

As our name suggests, we are a coworking and coliving space where you’ll meet, work alongside, and share a lunch table with inspiring freelancers, location independent workers, and entrepreneurs from across the globe. Here, you’ll be sure to get advice, network, and widen your opportunities. That’s the productive part.

But beyond all that, we also house a social innovation center which is dedicated to the sustainable growth and development of Cambodia. By providing guidance and support and bringing together mentors from both the local area and our extended network of friends and supporters, we empower the local people to challenge and overturn the status quo. That’s the positive part.

Our social component

In a country were the living wage is set to 177 USD / month, while a lot of people earn less than that, we believe we can create impact by empowering individuals who cannot afford to ditch their jobs to become independent. Just a little push and some people ready to give advice and share their contacts.

For these reasons we run workshops, projects, as well as training and incubation programs with other organizations and individuals.  We network with social-enterprises and NGOs to stop re-inventing the wheel and start working together on a cause rather than focusing on the structure.

As a result of this collaboration, we have developed incubation and social innovation opportunities, programs such as the Digital Nomad Mentorship Program and The Coworking Exchange, as well as platforms such as Connect, which aims to the connection of people with causes through resource sharing.

An Important Message From AngkorHUB

Due to COVID19 virus outbreak, we are supporting social distancing.

Unfortunately, this means we are pausing our usual coworking and coliving services.

The pandemic has caused offices, schools and universities to close in many parts of the world, and we see this move at AngkorHUB as the responsible thing to do. We should not be creating yet another gathering space where the virus can be easily spread with short-stay frequent travellers.

We were taking all precautions at AngkorHUB – providing alcohol solution for coworkers to clean their hands; our in-house cleaner was also very thorough every morning before the start of each day - especially work surfaces, door handles etc, but for now - the right thing to do is to hit pause.

All is not lost, we are still very much connected with our virtual community and would like to extend our help if anybody is seeking advice for how to keep working remotely during this time.

If you are a remote worker and need information about how to keep doing your thing, let us know about your challenges - talk with a member of our staff using the chat feature on the website and let’s discuss.

PS. This is far from the end for AngkorHUB. In the face of any challenge, we will always evolve. It is our nature! If you are reading this, there’s a good chance we are one in the same.

We are sorry for any inconvenience, we thank you for your understanding and wish you all the very best of health from the heart of Siem Reap, Cambodia.
